Drafted out of Morse HS in San Diego, he was the centerpiece of the trade that sent Erik Bedard to the Seattle Mariners in February of 2008.
That year, Adam broke onto the big stage – hitting .270 with 9 HRs, 57 RBIs and 10 Stolen Bases.
Through June 15th of 2009, he has continued his torrid pace, as he’s currently 10th in the AL in Batting Average at .316, and has added 12 HRs and 41 RBIs.
